Welcome to my art world...

Colour enthusiast, light seeker, potent dreamer, nature inspired.
Painting and creating either en plein air or in my studio sanctuary.
Currently living in Paris, France.
I am both a practicing Artist and Visual Arts teacher from the NSW South Coast, Australia. I am currently living in Paris where I am learning about European art and spend weekends drawing and painting the city. I hold a Bachelor of Art Education with Honours majoring in Sculpture at the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts. I also practice watercolour and oil painting, ceramics and pottery, drawing, photography, video, and printmaking.
My most recent body of work, Antipodean, was exhibited as a solo exhibition at Timbermill Studios, Bulli, Australia in 2021. Antipodean is a love letter to Earth, experience and kin, featuring landscapes and organic forms.
Previously I have been involved in two exhibitions as a finalist for both the Emerging 2013 Exhibition at Gosford Regional Gallery and for the Creative Waves Youth Sculpture Prize in Brookvale.
I am curious about the delicate, the imagination, childhood, the natural environment, the feminine, culture, connection to place, spirituality and relationships. I have particular interests in landscape, French Impressionism, classical antiquity, art therapy and colour theory, and much of my art is inspired by travel.
Among my favourite artists are Raoul Dufy, Cy Twombly, Botticelli, Claude Monet, J.M.W. Turner, Laura Jones, John Olsen, Brett Whiteley, Reg Mombassa, John Wolseley, Lynette Weir, Eugene von Guerard, and the list goes on!
